OTel Token Meter is free open-source software provided under the MIT License.

No warranty

The software and website are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Token counts and cost values depend on the attributes emitted by your tools. Verify reports before using them for billing, accounting, or operational decisions.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for securing the address you bind, controlling who can send telemetry to it, protecting the aggregate data file, and complying with laws and agreements that apply to your telemetry. The default loopback binding is the recommended configuration for individual machines.

Acceptable use

Do not use the hosted website to interfere with service availability or violate another person's rights. The CLI runs on your own infrastructure; you are responsible for how you deploy it.

Changes

Material changes will be dated on this page and recorded in the repository. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
